A new priest arrives at a small-town church and finds that the hardest part of the job is a college-age parishioner who keeps coming back. He has vows, a congregation that watches everything, and an attraction he cannot talk himself out of.
Forgive Me, Father puts the pressure outside the room for once: the risk is not a spouse in the next apartment but a whole town and a vocation. The series takes its time with the guilt, which is what the premise is actually about, and the confessional does a lot of work.
